113 : 1

قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ

Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaqi

قُلۡqulSay
أَعُوذُaʿūdhuI seek refuge
بِرَبِّbirabbiin (the) Lord
ٱلۡفَلَقِl-falaqi(of) the dawn
TRANSLATION

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak

113 : 2

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

Min sharri ma khalaqa

مِنminFrom
شَرِّsharri(the) evil
مَا(of) what
خَلَقَkhalaqaHe created
TRANSLATION

From the evil of that which He created

|||
113 : 3

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

Wamin sharri ghasiqin itha waqaba

وَمِنwaminAnd from
شَرِّsharri(the) evil
غَاسِقٍghāsiqin(of) darkness
إِذَاidhāwhen
وَقَبَwaqabait spreads
TRANSLATION

And from the evil of darkness when it settles

113 : 4

وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ

Wamin sharri alnnaffathati fee alAAuqadi

وَمِنwaminAnd from
شَرِّsharri(the) evil
ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَٰتِl-nafāthāti(of) the blowers
فِيin
ٱلۡعُقَدِl-ʿuqadithe knots
TRANSLATION

And from the evil of the blowers in knots

113 : 5

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasada

وَمِنwaminAnd from
شَرِّsharri(the) evil
حَاسِدٍḥāsidin(of) an envier
إِذَاidhāwhen
حَسَدَḥasadahe envies
TRANSLATION

And from the evil of an envier when he envies
