95 : 1

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ

Waaltteeni waalzzaytooni

وَٱلتِّينِwal-tīniBy the fig
وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِwal-zaytūniand the olive
TRANSLATION

By the fig and the olive

|||
95 : 2

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

Watoori seeneena

وَطُورِwaṭūriAnd (the) Mount
سِينِينَsīnīnaSinai
TRANSLATION

And [by] Mount Sinai

|||
95 : 3

وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ

Wahatha albaladi alameeni

وَهَٰذَاwahādhāAnd this
ٱلۡبَلَدِl-baladi[the] city
ٱلۡأَمِينِl-amīni[the] secure
TRANSLATION

And [by] this secure city [Makkah]

|||
95 : 4

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ

Laqad khalaqna alinsana fee ahsani taqweemin

لَقَدۡlaqadIndeed
خَلَقۡنَاkhalaqnāWe created
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَl-insānaman
فِيٓfīin
أَحۡسَنِaḥsani(the) best
تَقۡوِيمٖtaqwīminmould
TRANSLATION

We have certainly created man in the best of stature

|||
95 : 5

ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ

Thumma radadnahu asfala safileena

ثُمَّthummaThen
رَدَدۡنَٰهُradadnāhuWe returned him
أَسۡفَلَasfala(to the) lowest
سَٰفِلِينَsāfilīna(of the) low
TRANSLATION

Then We return him to the lowest of the low

|||
95 : 6

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ

Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati falahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin

إِلَّاillāExcept
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
ءَامَنُواْāmanūbelieve
وَعَمِلُواْwaʿamilūand do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deeds
فَلَهُمۡfalahumthen for them
أَجۡرٌajrun(is a) reward
غَيۡرُghayrunever
مَمۡنُونٖmamnūninending
TRANSLATION

Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted

|||
95 : 7

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ

Fama yukaththibuka baAAdu bialddeeni

فَمَاfamāThen what
يُكَذِّبُكَyukadhibukacauses you to deny
بَعۡدُbaʿduafter (this)
بِٱلدِّينِbil-dīnithe judgment
TRANSLATION

So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense

|||
95 : 8

أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ

Alaysa Allahu biahkami alhakimeena

أَلَيۡسَalaysaIs not
ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah
بِأَحۡكَمِbi-aḥkami(the) Most Just
ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَl-ḥākimīna(of) the Judges
TRANSLATION

Is not Allah the most just of judges

|||
